Prince George Community Action Plan

One of the most important things that a group of stakeholders can do in a community is to come together to create a plan. This can involve outlining common goals, conducting an environmental scan and needs assessment, and planning priorities for action. This can also be a great way for local government to identify policies which could be targeted to help support healthy living in your community.During Live 5-2-1-0's first phase, we worked in partnership with Abbotsford and Prince George to help with the creation of their community action plans. We’ve shared these communities’ plans below, as they can serve as useful examples of different approaches, and might help if you are considering creating an action plan with your community stakeholders.
