Live 5-2-1-0 Playboxes have shared games and sports equipment that children and families can borrow to enjoy active outdoor play! These colourful boxes are located in parks and green spaces in many communities around BC and are free for families to use - just remember to return the items when you're done so other families can enjoy them too!
Since Abbotsford first launched their Live 5-2-1-0 Playboxes in October 2014, this innovative idea for improving the health of community environments has been shared widely resulting in a growing network of Playboxes across BC! Communities around the province are planning and installing their own Live 5-2-1-0 Playboxes, and coming up with unique adaptations and improvements all the time.

Please note many Playboxes were closed in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please check with your local Recreation Centre or Organization, using the details below, to ensure your neighbourhood Playbox has reopened.
